IT Support Associate

Responsibilities

  • 1st– and 2nd-line support for all Mac users in the office
  • Maintenance Development
  • Process change and feature requests
  • Liaise with Project Manager on IT projects administration
  • Roll out of new IT systems (including training and documentation for users)
  • Take responsibility for small scale IT projects and assist with larger IT projects
  • New starter set up and induction including equipment/ hardware order, installation and management
Receptionist/Office Assistant

£18k-£20k Depending upon experience + Bonus + Benefits

We are looking for an individual who embodies our vision and values, who takes pride in their work and is able to thrive in a busy office environment. Your role will include:

  • Meeting and greeting visitors, answering the phone, opening and distributing post
  • Timely and effective maintenance of all office supplies, including kitchen, stationery and printers
  • Ensuring office communal areas and meeting rooms are well presented, fully stocked, clean and tidy
  • Organising catering for internal meetings and ensuring meeting rooms are fit for purpose before and after meeting
  • Filing and maintenance of admin folders
  • Maintaining the register for office keys and security fobs
  • Supporting the Operations team with Health and Safety requirements including booking, scheduling and monitoring training
  • Basic PA support for the CEO/COO during times of PA’s absence

About you:

  • Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in an office environment

  • Ability to deal with people face to face and over the telephone and have a polite and courteous manner

We are a growing consultancy company helping pharmaceutical and medical device companies launch new products in Europe, and expanding to other countries including Canada, Turkey, Brazil and Japan. Director of Health Economics

The role includes:

  • Strategic input to the design and operational development of health economic models including:
  • Innovative approaches to health economic decision problems such as in rare diseases or where there are limited data – for BioPharma, MedTech and IVD clients
  • Cost utility models
  • Cost effectiveness/cost benefit models
  • Budget impact models
  • Contribute to dossier development
  • Review of clinical and economic data
  • Input to strategic direction of submissions – both clinical and economic sections and on submissions as a whole
  • Option to lead and manage submissions if this is an area of interest and time allows
  • Workshop strategy
  • Support development of strategic workshops to meet client needs, especially where there is a significant health economics element or opportunity
  • Contribute to delivery of workshops where required
  • Pricing submissions to the UK Department of Health & Social Care (DHSC) and its equivalent in other countries
  • Support clients in development of their pricing strategy using analogues and changes in health policy, as well as the experience of the management team
  • Use existing clinical and economic data to develop submissions to the DHSC
  • Project management
  • Project and client management for certain key clients and projects – to be agreed
  • Monitoring and updating of individual projects and an overall project and client tracking tool, where relevant to projects being directly worked on
  • Business development
  • Support the board of management in development of proposals to continuously grow the consulting side of MAP BioPharma
  • Support the continuous improvement of content of the web based subscription service operated by MAP BioPharma (www.mapbiopharma.com and www.mapmedtech.com)
  • Role development
  • Actively engage in the process to develop the role in an appropriate way to maintain personal development and commitment to the business
  • Options for this role to develop – subject to the individual’s personal aims and objectives include but are not limited to:
    • Policy & Public affairs – engaging with UK and Ireland and EU governments on matters relating to pricing, health economics and market access policy
    • Academic engagement – developing and maintaining a network of contacts in academia to provide a resource for MAP in the future
  • Ad Hoc duties relevant to role of Senior Consultant/Associate Director of Health Economics

Essential Criteria

  • Experience of developing and leading a HEOR team
  • Masters qualification in Health Economics
  • Client facing experience
  • Experience and knowledge of working within NICE guidelines for HTA submissions
  • Relevant industry experience either in-house or within consultancy
  • Ability to effectively model using Excel (VBA), STATA, R, TreeAge or a combination of these
  • Ability to produce budget impact, cost analysis, Decision Tree and Markov models
Health Economics and Market Access Consultant

We are a small consultancy company helping pharmaceutical and medical device companies launch new products in Europe with primary focus on UK and Ireland. Our team are quick thinkers, great problem solvers with a very diverse background ranging from pharmacy and mathematics to industry. With a rapidly growing workload, we are looking for health economists to join our team.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Design and develop health economic models including cost-utility and cost-effectiveness
  • Develop bespoke models for clients, often in the area of rare and ultra-rare diseases
  • Write reports outlining methods and findings of project work
  • Attend client meetings, NICE/SMC/AWMSG meetings and conferences and present findings when necessary

Internal career progression is actively encouraged and tailored to your specific skills and interests.

The essential skills are as follows:

  • Masters degree in the field of Health economics
  • Minimum 1 year experience in consultancy or a pharmaceutical company, or other relevant experience
  • Advanced Knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Stata, R, WinBugs, and MS Access would be highly beneficial
  • Other relevant packages are R, STATA, SAS or SPSS
