The House of Commons Science and Technology Committee Publishes a Report on UK Research and Innovation

The House of Commons Science and Technology Committee has published a report on UK Research and Innovation. In the report it explains how the Government plans to create ‘UK Research & Innovation’ (UKRI)—a new body with nine ‘councils’, comprising the seven research councils, Innovate UK and Research England (another new body, taking over the university research grant-funding role from the Higher Education Funding Council for England (HEFCE).
