Hospital Drug Expenditure has Decreased by 3.7% in 2016 in Spain

The Ministry of Finance in spain has made hospital expenditure data public. According to figures, hospital pharmacy spending has fallen 3.7% in the last year, reaching an overall amount of €4.596 million euros up until September. The main drivers of this decrease were Hepatitis C drugs; if these drugs were not to be accounted, spending would have grown by 10 percent in the last year.
