Irish Department of Health starts recruitment of new HSE Board

The Irish Department of Health has begun its recruitment campaign for members of the new Board of the Health Services Executive (HSE). The HSE is responsible for commissioning and provision of health services in Ireland.

The role of the new board is expected to focus on the HSE’s corporate governance, management and planning, quality care, and its working with the public. Candidates are sought who have backgrounds in the effective management of large organisations.

The new Board will oversee the management of the HSE, which will continue to be run by its current Director-General and C-suite. More details on the HSE, and market access in Ireland, are available on MAP Online.
