Yesterday the CEOs of six pharmaceutical companies testified before the US Senate Finance Committee. The companies represented included: AbbVie, AstraZeneca, Bristol-Myers Squibb, Merck, Pfizer and Sanofi.
This hearing follows an invitation from the committee to the executives of these six pharmaceutical companies.
The aim of this hearing was to question the pricing of drugs in the US.
