Ireland to open negotiations with BeNeLuxA on drug pricing and supply

The Irish Government wants to work with other EU countries to try and drive down the costs of expensive medicines. Securing access to new and innovative medicines, in an affordable and sustainable way is one of the Health Minister Simon Harris’ key objectives. And so, he has announced that Ireland is to open negotiations with Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Austria (BeNeLuxA countries) with regards to drug pricing and supply.
