Genomics programme will make NHS a world leader

NHS England’s Chief executive, Simon Stevens, welcomed the announcement today by David Cameron of the 100,000 Genome Project.

The Prime Minister revealed plans for a £300 million investment into the project which involves research into cancer and rare diseases, that will transform how diseases are diagnosed and treated.
